1 Samuel 16:7 (KJ21) But the Lord said unto Samuel, “Look not on his countenance or on the height of his stature, because I have refused him; for the Lord seeth not as man seeth. For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”

I will be glad and rejoice in Thee; I will sing praise to Thy name, O Thou Most High.

Psalm 15:1 – 3   15 Lord, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle? Who shall dwell in Thy holy hill?

He that walketh uprightly and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart;

he that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor spreadeth a reproach against his neighbor;

Psalm 139:23 – 24.  23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts.

24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 37:4 – 5.  Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 131:1  131 Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself with great matters, or in things too high for me.
