NOTE: word=promise. glory=manifested power of GOD.

2nd Peter 1:3-4  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

John 1:15-16   15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. 16 And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.

NOTE: grace=divine favor

Ephesians 5:30  30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

1st John 4:17 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
