Is the GTOC a building? Is it the place where believers gather to worship? Or is the GTOC the people—the believers who follow Christ? How we understand and perceive the GTOC Ministry is quite important in determining how we live out the Scriptures. The word "church" as rendered in the New Testament comes from the Greek term ekklesia which is formed from two Greek words meaning "an assembly" and "to call out" or "called out ones." In summary, the New Testament church is a body of believers who have been called out from the world by God to live as his people under the authority of Jesus Christ, This group of believers or "the body of Christ" began in Acts 2 on the Day of Pentecost through the work of the Holy Spirit and will continue to be formed until the day of the gathering together of the church, To which thank God the GTOC is a part. Very touching and sure makes me rethink how I do pray. Matt was so right about the power that God does have, as some of us has seen and will continue to witness. Also, his story about David and Goliath, how we usually don't give God a chance to help us, we just plow thru this world thinking we can make it thru without him... so not true.. God is there for us. I am so blessed to know I'm not perfect but God loves me anyway. We learn from our mistakes and the lord is there to lead us in the right direction, weather we deserve it or not. Our Father loves us unconditionally. Thanks for posting The Word of God is Truth!! It really is a blessing to be able to make the rightly-divided Word available to anyone with a computer and internet access. This Church has literally been the best thing that's happened to me and my family!! I love learning about the word & I get excited about going to church every week!!!
